  2. Cycle along Undercliff Walk, from the West Pier to the Marina and beyond  (Teashops at Ovingdean Gap and Rottingdean – the village where Rudyard Kipling wrote Kim & many of the Just So stories)
  3. Ride the Volks Railway (very first Electric Railway in the world, opened August 1883) from the Palace Pier (now called Brighton Pier) to the Marina - which apart from boats has Restaurants, Bars, Factory Outlets and Rock Pooling beaches beyond.
  4. Take the Open Top No.77 Bus to Devil’s Dyke (area of outstanding Natural Beauty) to get a feel for the South Downs – Brighton Pier, Bus Stop N 10am–8pm every 30/40 minutes
  5. A visit to the Royal Pavilion – the Prince Regent’s Exotic Summer Palace -  is highly recommended.
  6. Browse the many antique Jewellery Shops in the Lanes (narrow cobbled passages of the original fishing village – Brightonhelmstone – the for-runner to Brighton)
  7. Visit the Brighton Pier, with Fairground Rides, Amusement Arcades and fantastic views along the coast.
  8. Stroll along the seafront on the lower promenade (King’s Arches) between the Brighton Pier and West Pier, and visit the many Galleries, Bars, Clubs, Restaurants, Shops and Fishing Museum, sampling fresh fish snacks along the way.
